So last year I did this and it was pretty cool. I decided the month of February to self-love. When you have a chronic illness, you’re faced with so many battles within yourself. Like literally I feel like I’m at war with my body. It’s hard to love yourself when yourself is destroying you. So clearly self-love was needed.

So if you feel in need of a little extra self-loving I encourage you all to join me. Here’s how. Starting Feb 1 through Feb 29 everyday I will:
- Write an affirmation (and journal / meditate to expand upon my affirmation). In my journaling I’m focusing on why I feel the need to affirm that particular thing. If you need a refresher on affirmations, read my previous posts here and here.
- Take a selfie.
- Share! – If you’re brave enough, share your selfies and affirmations on social media. This is completely optional. But necessary if you want to enter to win the giveaway. More details on that down below.
Leveling Up this year
So this year, I decided to take things up a notch for y’all. I created a Self Love Challenge Workbook to supplement the challenge. It’s not required to participate in the challenge. The workbook is filled with prompts and checklists and a little assessment to help you figure out how you’re loving yourself and why.
